Hello world!
Hi there!
Thanks for stopping by. This site is just getting started and is a work in progress. There is more great information to come.
As the name suggests, this site is about adventure. It is also about how to find said adventure without breaking the bank. I first stumbled across the mileage game during the summer of 2015 after our first family trip that didn’t involve staying with relatives. My wife Molly qualified for the Boston Marathon on her first ever marathon race. I figured since she had done the hard part, the least I could do was get her to Boston from Tucson. Our 2 oldest kids were out of the house by then, so Tristan, our 14-year-old son, Molly and I went to Boston, then spent a week in Maine at an awesome Airbnb out in the middle of nowhere right on the ocean and had an awesome time.
When I got back I had the travel bug bad and started searching for ways to do more of it. I’ve always dreamed of travel but ran into a problem a few other folks have as well. Lack of time and money. After searching the internet I found there were ways to travel the world without having to pay much for airline tickets and hotels and I jumped in with both feet to learn and figure it out how to do it. I am now trying to make up for lost time by taking full advantage of what I have learned. I mention the next bit only because I can help others do the same if they really want to travel.
Since then we have flown business class to Prague, and traveled through Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and spent a few great days in Istanbul. Out of pocket airline for 2 round trip tickets in business class $600.
Tristan and I had a great trip to Maui while Molly stayed home with a destroyed ankle from a rock climbing fall. Round trip tickets for both of us $22.20. I felt bad so I took Molly to Kauai the next spring Airline tickets $22.20, 5 nights at a Hilton hotel on the beach $0, 2 nights at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Hawaii $0.
lete it, then start writing!
